The Marines Command Comment On Marine Unit Video


1. “The Marines issued a statement saying that they had not verified the video’s origin and authenticity but that “the actions portrayed usually are not constant with our core values and are certainly not indicative of the character of the Marines.” (by means of NYT)

…Yeah, I guess its been 10 months considering that that kill squad photo saw the light of day. Oh, but people guys were Army.

2. For an act of humiliation, these guys are pretty discreet about displaying their members.

3. And it’s only worse because there aren’t any other pics of your Afghan war attracting interest.

five. I honestly really don't fully grasp the pixelization.

six. I honestly do not fully grasp the diverse methods for pixelization/discretion:

A Pentagon spokesman, Navy Capt. John Kirby, explained the video is deeply troubling.

“Whoever it is actually, and whatever the conditions - which we know is below investigation - it truly is egregious behavior,” Kirby explained.

It can be unclear who shot the video and who posted it on the internet.
